T-minus three days...

As of Friday at 3 PM, I am on vacation for two weeks.  I am trying desperately hard not to absolutely phone it in at the office, which is difficult.  A lot of my upcoming projects haven’t really started yet and won’t likely kick off until after the New Year, which leaves me with not just a whole lot to do.  I have been asking people if they need help with just about anything, and inventing tasks to do when there is nothing else.  I finally have something that will keep me busy for most of tomorrow, which is good because I’m about to go out of my mind.

I can’t wait to have time off.  I’m going to clean the apartment, do about a zillion loads of laundry, enjoy the holidays with my husband and our families, and get some serious writing done.  Oh, and have some Snufferitas and cheese fries with one of my BFFs in town for Christmas.  Can’t wait!
